888C Visa: Australian Permanent Residence for Significant Investors
-
What is the 888C visa?
- The 888C visa, formally the Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa (subclass 888) in the Significant Investor stream, is Australia's permanent residence (PR) visa for investors who have held an eligible 188C visa.
- Your spouse and dependent children can be granted PR together with you.
- No further investment is required.
- Once you hold the 888C and meet the residence requirements, your family can pursue a pathway to Australian citizenship.
- The 888C is the permanent residence stage for investors who already hold a 188C; the 188/888 program (Business Innovation and Investment Program, BIIP) is no longer accepting new Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
