- Government fee: €10,000 (paid after approval in principle).
- Key condition: The company receiving the investment must pay at least €40,000 in taxes per year for the TRP to be maintained.
- Holding period: Maintain the investment for the full 5 years.
2. Real estate
A route backed by tangible assets, with the potential to generate rental income.
- Investment amount:Minimum250.000 EUR(agricultural and forest land do not qualify).
- Government fee: 5% of the property value.
- Location rules: In Riga or Jurmala, the investment must be a single property with a cadastral value of at least €80,000. Elsewhere, up to two properties may be combined.
- Other costs: Land registry duty of around 2%, plus notary fees and legal costs.
3. Interest-free government bonds

- Government fee: €38,000 (non-refundable).
- Return of capital: 100% of the principal is repaid after 5 years, with no interest.
4. Subordinated deposit with a Latvian bank

Residence and citizenship pathway: getting PR in Latvia
