Ireland IIP: a limited number of investment places remain

  • The Ireland Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP) closed to new applications on February 15, 2023
  • Endowment projects that met the legal requirements before the closure may still accept investors to complete their fundraising

    • The Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP), run by the Government of Ireland, grants Stamp 4 residence permission to non-EEA investors and their families.
    • Live, study, and work in English, inside the EU

    Evidence that your investment funds come from a lawful source

  • Your 2 investment options

    • Option 1: Make an endowment of €400,000 (approximately US$456,000) to a public benefit project in the arts, culture, sport, or education.
    • Option 2: Invest €1 million (approximately US$1.14 million) in a qualifying enterprise or project, and hold the investment for 3 years. (closed to new applications)

    Please note: the Ireland IIP closed to new applications on February 15, 2023. IMM Group holds a limited number of eligible endowment places in projects that met the legal requirements before that date.

The investment process, step by step

  1. Deposit and due diligence

    Sign a deposit agreement and complete an initial eligibility assessment of your application.

  2. Sign the agreements

    Finalize your service agreement with IMM Group and the agreements that set up and implement your investment.

  3. Prepare and submit your application

    Prepare your legal documentation and submit your application for Irish residence under the Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP).

  4. Receive pre-approval

    The Irish government reviews your application and, if it is approved, issues a pre-approval letter.

  5. Transfer your investment

    Transfer your investment capital once your application has received pre-approval.

  6. Travel to Ireland to complete the formalities

    Travel to Ireland to complete the remaining formalities and provide your fingerprints. Your Stamp 4 residence permission is registered during the same trip.
