A second citizenship can give you a stronger passport, greater freedom to travel, and more options for your family’s future
A second citizenship can give you a stronger passport, greater freedom to travel, and more options for your family’s future, and it is an increasingly popular choice among investors. Among today’s fastest citizenship by investment programs, which offers the most efficient route?

As the saying goes, “Time is more valuable than money. You can always earn more money, but you cannot get more time.” For high-net-worth individuals and business owners, this rings especially true: their time is invaluable, and when they need something done, it usually needs to happen quickly. In an increasingly globalized world, the ability to travel internationally has become essential. A second, stronger passport means less time spent on visa applications and greater freedom of global mobility, something many successful entrepreneurs seek.
Through qualifying investments, investors can obtain a second citizenship for themselves and eligible family members. No longer limited to the United States, Australia, Canada, or Europe, more investors are now looking further afield, to less familiar countries such as Grenada, Dominica, and St. Kitts & Nevis. These Caribbean nations lie southeast of North America, among the many large and small islands scattered across the Caribbean Sea.
With dramatic natural scenery and some of the world’s finest beaches, the Caribbean is often described as a tropical gateway and a resort destination in every sense. Countries in the region attract not only tourists but also investors, thanks to citizenship by investment programs with practical benefits. These programs offer relatively fast processing (about 1 year) and accessible investment levels, making them a popular choice in 2025.
As the first and only Vietnam-based firm authorized to advise on the citizenship by investment programs of all 3 countries (Grenada, Dominica, and St. Kitts & Nevis), IMM Group summarizes the key details of each program below.
1. Grenada citizenship by investment program
Choose 1 of 2 investment options:
- A US$235,000 contribution to Grenada’s National Transformation Fund (NTF) for a family of up to 4, or

- Dual citizenship is permitted, so investors can keep their current citizenship.
- No upper age limit, and no education, work experience, or language requirements.
- The entire investment process can be completed from your country of residence, without traveling to Grenada.
- Eligible family members, including the main applicant’s grandparents, parents, children, and siblings, may be included in a single application.
2. Dominica citizenship by investment program

Because these programs grant citizenship directly, investors and their families can obtain a strong passport quickly, without first going through the temporary and permanent residence stages required in the United States, Australia, Canada, or Europe. This is why many IMM Group clients who already hold permanent residence in those countries go on to add a Caribbean citizenship.
Caribbean citizenship offers investors not only a strong passport and the freedom of global mobility, but also access to cross-border opportunities in both life and business.
4. Turkey citizenship by investment program

Real estate investment for Turkish citizenship is one of the strongest citizenship by investment options available today. By investing at least US$400,000 in real estate, investors and their families (spouse and children under 18) can obtain Turkish citizenship with full citizenship rights. A Turkish passport offers visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 114 destinations and can make it easier to apply for visas to European countries (France, Germany, Italy, Greece, and others). Investors may also be eligible for certain special visa categories to live and work in the United States.
Processing is relatively fast, at around 12 months. The program attracts strong interest from investors worldwide because its requirements are simpler than those of many other programs:
- No medical examination required.
- No asset declaration required.
- Open to applicants of most nationalities.
- No upper age limit; no education, work experience, or language requirements.
- No requirement to reside in Türkiye.
Under the program rules, real estate purchased for Turkish citizenship must be valued by an independent third party, a safeguard for foreign investors. After 3 years, investors may resell the property without affecting the Turkish citizenship already granted. The local real estate market is also active and may offer growth potential, supported by a developing economy and tourism sector.
