Continuing the series of charitable activities, on 12 July 2014, IMM Group granted 200 presents to the poor in Binh Minh district, Vinh Long province, Vietnam.
There are still a lot of unhappy lives
IMM Group: Binh Minh district in Vinh Long province is a place where there are a lot of people who live alone and in extremely poor conditions. For many families, even making their daily living is very difficult. In order to have daily meals, they have to do all kinds of hard work such as selling lottery tickets and vegetables, collecting scrap material and even diving to catch crabs and shells, etc. However, they can only earn from VND 20,000 to VND 30,000/day.
Nevertheless, they are not the unhappiest people. A lot of people there do not even have their own houses but only small tents under bridges. They do everything to make money but still cannot find the way out of deadlock. Understanding their difficulties, IMM Group has prepared presents for those people in the whole district.
Over 200 meaningful presents
Together with the help from Mr. Tran Van Tinh’s family, the IMM Group’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, the company prepared 200 presents. Each present includes of sugar, seasoning powder, noodles, rice, soya sauce, and an envelope containing VND 300,000. Mr. Tinh himself and the members of his family granted those presents to needy local people. Besides Mr. Tinh and his family, representatives from the People’s Committee of Communes, Binh Minh’s Red Cross Organization, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also attended the gift donation ceremony.
